The rest of Malaysia and Singapore Part II

 The Magician/Preacher/Salesman...
we couldn't figure out what this guys purpose was!

Some of our group picked up with these kids and played keep ups for a while..
the kids were pretty good!

cigarette in mouth as he rode down the street.

And Finally, the BEACH!-- named Batu Ferringi, which means from those of you who remember, stony... beach? (i couldn't find the definition of Ferringi)
Somehow these guys managed do deal with midday sun, 30+degrees, and wearing jeans and some of them long sleeve shirts! they weren't even sweating!
One thing they did do though was take photos of the sparse foreigners, ei. US!
the hotel that Alyssa and I snuck into to read, sleep on their lounge chairs, and otherwise use their WIFI!

The birds I mentioned earlier in the first post about Singapore, these are the same birds I think that they were selling on the street that day... FOR FREE!

After over a year since we met, reunited only a couple hours from where he goes to Uni...
CHOESANG!

 Temple
Temple
 Temple

Playing checkers on the side of the street with bottle caps as pieces.. Charming!

This is how they show you that they have a Men's, Women's and Handicapped Washrooms....
AND a place to wash your hands!!

WE MADE IT! After a 45 minute motorbike ride, we finally arrived at the largest Buddhist temple in all of South East Asia!

Unfortunately, the experience i wouldn't say was "ruined" but rather dampened by the commercialization of this tourist trap, and the tacky bright flashing LEDs everywhere at the temple.

 FOOD MARKET TIME!!

YUM!

The rest of Malaysia and Singapore Part I

The best weather possible hit KL on our second night.. twas spendid!.. serious-no sarcasm there

The new tallest buildings in Malaysia, the Petronus Twin Towers
packed to the brim? i think not.. wait till you see what rush-hour's like!.. i couldn't even raise my camera during rush-hour to take a photo!

YUP! i think someone does need energy!!
the indian movie stores that Uncle Grape would LOVE!

We decided it would be a good and humane thing to let these fish survive and the only way was for them to eat us.. so we let them eat our feet:

PENANG-the town of motorbikes, rickshaws, fantastic cheap Indian food, and CHOESANG!

50 CENTS for curry and rice!
or $2.50 for chicken tikka, curry, rice, and a splendid mango juice!

this isn't Choesang, but I will post a photo of him in part II
